Mozambique promotes business opportunities in Macau
Mozambique participates in the 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair (29 MIF) from 16th to 19th October 2024 at The Venetian Macao Cotai Expo, Macau, People’s Republic of China.
Mozambique’s participation in the event is being coordinated by the Investment and Export Promotion Agency (APIEX,IP), with the aim of promoting business opportunities by showcasing the country’s economic potential and export potential.
The event will include: (i) Exhibition of goods and services; (ii) Promotion and tasting sessions of products from Portuguese-speaking countries; (iii) Thematic Seminars; (iv) Cultural Presentations, among other parallel events.
Representing the country in the event are the Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (APIEX,IP); the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Energy (MIREME), through the National Geology Museum; The Grain Institute of Mozambique, IP (ICM, IP); Executive Council of the Province of Inhambane; Integrated Development Agency of the North (ADIN) and the Mozambique Airports Company (AdM). The delegation also includes representatives of 20 national companies, who are traveling to Macau to showcase their products and services and establish partnerships.
The Macau International Trade and Investment Fair is an annual event organized by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM), with the aim of promoting economic, commercial and cultural exchange and cooperation with Portuguese-speaking countries through exhibitions.
