Mozambique promotes business oportunities in China

Mozambique participates, from the 5th to the 10th of November 2024 in Shanghai, People’s Republic of China, in the 7th Edition of the China International Import Expo 2024 (CIIE).

The participation of Mozambique in the event is being coordinated by the Investment and Export Promotion Agency, IP (APIEX, IP) in partnership with the Mozambique Chamber of Commerce (CCM) and the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (APME), with the aim of promoting the country’s image as a preferred destination for Foreign Direct Investment, through the exposure of economic potential, as well as national products with export potential.

To this end, a Delegation made up of 34 businessmentravelling to Shanghai with the aim of exhibiting their products and services, as well as establishing partnerships.

It is important to note that the African Agricultural Products Exhibition will be organized on the sidelines of the event, with the aim of promoting trade, as well as establishing a contact platform between traders and buyers of agricultural products that Africa and in particular Mozambique exports to the People’s Republic of China.

The China International Import Expo is organized by the China International Import Expo Bureau and National Exhibition and Convention Center and aims to promote the Chinese domestic market to foreign companies and increase domestic consumption. This is a business event and a privileged space for dialogue between manufacturers and distributors, where participants have the opportunity to establish contacts, negotiate agreements and identify market trends.
