FIKANI is an annual event to promote tourism in the region and the world, attracting travel sector professionals from all over the world. For four days, visitors can discover the diverse tourist offerings of African countries, from cultural, historical and natural destinations to leisure, adventure and business options.

The fair will take place at the Centro Cultural Moçambique China, a modern convention center in Maputo, capital of Mozambique. There, exhibitors are divided into different categories, such as accommodation, tour operators, accommodation, transport, travel, luxury products, and other services linked to the tourism industry.

FIKANI is considered the highest and most prestigious business and meeting point between national companies and tourist institutions with their counterparts in the Southern region and other parts of the world. It was launched in 2013, in a joint partnership between the Government of Mozambique, through the National Tourism Institute (INATUR), and the private sector, represented by the Mozambican Federation of Tourism and Hospitality (FEMOTUR). Since then, the fair has grown in size and relevance, with the participation of national and international exhibitors, lectures, workshops, B2B meetings, guided tours and cultural activities.
