Macaneta Integrated Tourism Resort Area

Macaneta Integrated Tourism Resort Zone, created through the Decree n°44/2021 of 30 June, is located in the Province of Maputo, District of Marracuene. It is privately managed.


Macaneta Bay Resort, SA, was certified as operator of this Resort Zone of Integrated Tourism that will operate under a Special Economic Zone regime, being that this company will be responsible for the infrastructure and management of ZETI that includes the construction of an integrated resort and golf courses, residential, four-star hotelsand 5 stars, marina, shopping center and other support infrastructure, with a investment budgeted at US$ 773,976,098.00 and expected to create around 1768 jobs employment for nationals.
