The Manga-Mungassa Special Economic Zone was created by Decree No. 22/2012, June 6th and is located in the City of Beira, Province of Sofala, occupying a area of ​​217 ha.

It should be noted that this Special Economic Zone is operational and its management is private, being linked to the company Dingsheng Internacional Investimento, Lda, authorized shortly after the creation of this ZEE, as an operating company with the function the creation of infrastructures necessary for the implementation and development of activities leading to the implementation of projects in this ZEE, including the respective management.

Given its location, the Manga-Mungassa ZEE is designed to attract investment projects in the industry, logistics, transport, hospitality and services.

Given the existence of the Gorongosa National Park in Sofala Province, one of the main parks in Africa, this EEZ also becomes attractive for tourism sector.

The Manga-Mungassa ZEE currently has 8 authorized projects, all being operational, with an approved investment of USD 509,150,000.00 and 2396 jobs for nationals
